YouthBuild USA — Quality Assessment

The Research and Evaluation Center is providing research expertise and support to YouthBuild USA as part a quality assessment undertaken by YouthBuild for its National Mentoring Initiative, funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) within the Office of Justice Programs in the U.S. Department of Justice. Over a three-year period beginning May 1, 2010, the Research and Evaluation Center is supporting YouthBuild in the design and implementation of data collection procedures, primarily the use of self-administered questionnaires that are being completed by student/participants at multiple points during each student’s YouthBuild experience. The survey results will be used to ascertain client satisfaction with the new mentoring component of YouthBuild.

Results from the quality assessment will be available in 2013.
