Areas of Interest:

Primarily in ethics and social philosophy, currently focusing on a variety of issues in professional and criminal justice ethics (including police and correctional ethics, and the philosophy of law). I have three book projects nearing completion -The Problematic Virtue of Loyalty: Patriotism (with Simon Kellera and Igor Primoratz); and Means and Ends in Policing. I also have an ongoing interest in medical ethics and the philosophy of education.
