Assistant to the Director

Daniel Golebiewski is the Assistant to the Director for the Center for International Human Rights. He is a PhD student in Political Science at the Graduate Center, CUNY, a Graduate Assistant for the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies at the Graduate Center, and the Students Editor for E-International Relations. Dan holds a BA in Political Science (honors), with minors in History and English, from John Jay College and a MA in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University. He has published with E-International Relations, Taylor and Francis’ International Affairs Forum, Yale’s The Politic, and Oxford’s The Oxonian Globalist. Prior to becoming the Assistant to the Director, he was a research assistant who contributed a chapter in the Center’s LGBT Report, as well took part in the US Dept. of State’s Diplomacy Lab Project on U.S. Foreign Policy Options to Tackle Migration in the Mediterranean Sea. His research interests include international relations, international human rights and humanitarian affairs, and international organizations law.
